Feng Shui Symbols (Including Western Alternatives)
Another common misconception regarding Feng Shui is that you have to turn your house into a shrine of sorts and your house will be filled with Chinese symbols but again, this is not the case and is actually one of the biggest reasons why people tend to be turned off of the idea. In reality, the Chinese symbols are used because that is where the idea originated from but in the Western world, we don’t tend to connect to Chinese symbols, which is why there are many ideas for each area you are trying to improve. As will be listed below, there are many images that are beautiful in each area of your life and this will still work because they still resonate with a certain energy and they will still connect with your subconscious mind just as a Chinese symbol does to the Chinese. The most basic example is a circle, this is often seen as a symbol for unity and so when you bring images of a circle into your home or work, you are bringing that energy also. Good Feng Shui is bringing symbols into your home that mean something to you, just as you did with the treasure map. If the symbols do not mean anything to you, your subconscious is going to have a hard time connecting with it.
To gain the maximum effect of this book, you should try to use Feng Shui in conjunction with the law of attraction and a positive mental attitude and you will really start to see the difference in no time. I have made you an easy to follow list of some common symbols when it comes to the specific areas of your life that you want to target.
